SUNDAY SCHOOL NEWS

NEW CURRICULUM
Beginning April 15, we will begin our new curricula for 1st-6th graders in Sunday School.  The 9:00 service will feature “Prime Time”, a fun bible-study curriculum which will be taught by Linda Dragoo.  This is also the hour when “The Edge” will be held for 4th-6th graders.  At 10:30, we will premiere “Kids Church”, an active large group/small group curriculum for 1st through 6th graders.  The preschool curriculum remains the same.  Please take an opportunity to talk to your child’s Sunday School teacher to determine which class might best work for your child.

Camperships Available

Summer Camp 2007 at Westminster Woods

WW camp

High School Camp ~ a fun week of building relationships and practicing faith, for teens entering 9th-12th grades. High School students are wrestling with questions about life, friendships, and the conditions of the world. Our counselors, leaders and speakers engage young people in reflecting how a relationship with Christ can shape their perspectives, decisions and values. And, yes, High School Campers have a lot of FUN!
Most of FPCP's Sr Highers are going the week of July 29 - Aug. 4. Register for camp "H6" (other weeks of Sr High camp are available too)

Jr. High Central ~ an upbeat week of meaningful fun for young people entering 7th-9th grades. Meaningful friendships grow as campers from different places share their common connection in Christ. Central Camp provides energy-filled fun such as the challenge course, elaborate camp-wide games and a hike to a campsite high on the ridge.
Most of FPCP's Junior Highers are going the week of July 22-28. Register for camp "C5" (other weeks of Jr High camp are available too)

Cost for either camp is $395 if you register by 4/1; $425 after 4/1. FPCP has camperships (camp scholarships) available. Please ask your youth leader if you need financial help to get to camp. Special camperships will also be available for those who help with FPCP's Vacation Bible School, July 9-13.

To register or for more info on camps, go to www.westminsterwoods.org

Camp for Kids

Adventure Camp ~ a safe and exciting 3-night program for children entering 2nd-4th grades.
This exciting escapade, led by trained jungle guides (staff and counselors), is filled with laughter, singing, swimming, adventure, and discovery. Our youngest campers benefit from lots of care, guidance, and contact with creation. The cost is $205 by 4/1 and $220 after 4/1

Sherwood Forest ~ a joyous, activity-filled camp for kids entering 4th-6th grades.
The joyful shouts and cheers of over a hundred boys and girls echo through Sherwood Forest. Swimming, crafts, creative Bible studies, archery, games, and hiking fill these campers’ days. The cost is $395 by 4/1 and $425 after 4/1.

The weeks our church is suggesting are week 1 (6/24-30) or week 5 (7/22-28). (Adventure camp can be either the first part or second part of these weeks). For more information and to register online go to www.westminsterwoods.org
Contact Victoria Ellecamp at 778-1989 if you have any further questions.
