Lay leadership in Presbyterian congregations is provided by the Session, made up of Elders, and the Board of Deacons.
Elders and Deacons are nominated annually and serve for two-year terms that can be extended. Only members can serve as Elders and Deacons.
If you'd like to serve as an Elder or Deacon:
All interested people are welcome to serve on committees and commissions. Membership is not required. To serve in this way, contact the church office or the Elder or Deacon leading the group that interests you.
Board of Deacons
Deacons are focused on loving ministry. If you need prayer support, a ride to church, or a friendly visit, contact one of our Deacons.
Elders and Deacons thank outgoing leaders for their service and welcome new leaders at an annual December dinner.
Elders are legally responsible for church governance, and direct activities ranging from worship structure to use of our facilities.
Leaders: check our online resources for forms, policies, and miscellaneous information.
