You Can Be Involved in Worship & Music Ministries
Sanctuary Choir
This spirited group of singers serves the 10:30 classic service by leading the congregation in praise songs and hymns, as well as preparing an anthem, or special music, for the offertory. Musical styles range from ancient music to modern, from classical to contemporary. New members are always welcome in this friendly group. Even if you haven't sung since high school, you can join us in praising God. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:00pm in, coincidentally, the Sanctuary from September until mid-June. Contact Patty Graham, Music Director.
Bells of Joy
Bells of Joy performs at various times during the year, serving the 10:30 service with their distinctive and festive sound. Rehearsals are held following the 10:30 service each Sunday. You need little to no experience to participate in ringing with the bell choir. You will learn to read basic music, and how and when to ring your bell. When the bells are played together (properly!), the resulting music is heavenly! Contact Carol Campbell.
Praise Band
The Praise Band leads worship and performs music for the 9:00 Contemporary Celebration Service. Contact Dean DiLello, Contemporary Music Coordinator.
Audio-Visual-Lighting Team
The "AVL Team" serves both worship services by providing video, lighting and sound support. The Video guys program the Powerpoint slides for the worship services and run the slides during the service they've signed up for. The Sound guys set up microphones and perform sound checks before the service and run the sound board during the service. This team consists of 10-12 people who sign up for the Sundays they can serve. Contact David Coe (video & lighting) or Don White (sound).
