Recent Lessons

We spent a few weeks working with the concept of Love Languages as presented by Gary Chapman and Ross Campbell in their Five Love Languages books.  The basic premise is that there are five ways we communicate love to each other and that each of us has a dominate method of communication.  The books discuss ways to be aware of how you and the people in your life communicate love.  If you are interested in finding out more about the Five Love Languages there are several books available – Five Signs of a Loving Family, The five Love Languages of Children, The five Love Languages of Teenagers.  Brent and Mike have read The five Love Languages of Children and can definitely recommend it and it is likely the teenager version will be very applicable to most of our families.

Please feel free to talk with any of us about youth group plans, events, and activities (see attached calendar).
