"We meet Jesus, who is with and for us when we are with and for each other." - Kara K. Root

Young At Heart

YAH is our monthly gathering for seniors looking for some good food, coffee and conversation. It's an opportunity to spend time with friends both old and new, and engage in projects and presentations of interest. Whether you are 88 years old or just turned 8, all who feel young at heart are welcome to join us. We've been on hold because of COVID, but are excited to announce that we'll be starting up soon, and in partnership with Petaluma Senior Center!

Time For A Brew

Sonoma County is famous for its fabulous wines. But did you know it's also known for its award-winning craft breweries? TFAB is an informal gathering at one of Petaluma's local eateries for a drink, a snack, and friendly conversation. The only topics that are off-limits are politics and church. Though not an official FPCP activity, many of our members find this to be a wonderful place for fellowship, fun and meeting new friends.

Garden Team

Our garden is growing and there are always opportunities to serve, connect, weed, water, mulch and harvest. All are invited to join us. No green thumb necessary. All you need is a desire to get your hands in the dirt and care for God's good earth.

Sunday Morning Fellowship

Our Sunday morning fellowship starts at 9:15am under the awning in front of the sanctuary. Come early, or stay after for a cup of coffee, a pastry and conversation. Some Communion Sundays, at the end of the service, Pastor John processes out with the Communion bread, which becomes part of our "Bread and Jam" fellowship time.

Book Discussions

Our book discussions invite individuals to reflect on issues of faith and life. We include numerous genres and have read books such as An Altar in the World by Barbara Brown Taylor, The Power and the Glory by Graham Greene, Interrupting Silence by Walter Brueggemann, and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinson. For a full list of past reads, and to learn about upcoming books, click below.
