PLAN A VISIT
|
Sunday worship is at 9:45am. Our services include choir and instrumental music, traditional and contemporary hymns and songs, confession, scripture, a sermon, and prayer. A printed bulletin will guide you through the service, and you are invited to participate as you feel led. An online version of the bulletin is also available on the church Worship page. Communion (served on the first Sunday of the month, and special holy days) is open to everyone.
Godly Play (Sunday School) is offered for children from kindergarten through 5th grade. The second, third and fourth Sunday, Godly Play begins at about 10am following the Discovery Time (our children's time in the sanctuary).
Do you have a parking lot?
We do, and it's pretty big. Access it either from B or C Streets. Please take it easy on C Street out of respect for our neighbors and their children.
What should I wear?
Wear what feels comfortable to you. Some of our members dress up, and some dress more casually.
Will I stand out as a visitor?
Probably. We're a smaller congregation, so you'll be a new face. But from the moment you walk through the door, we want you to know that you are welcome here. Our greeters will help you get settled, and if you have children, they are always welcome to stay in the sanctuary, or we can introduce you to our children's ministry director.
Do you have a nursery?
Our nursery is currently being used exclusively by Open Arms Playgarden Preschool that operates on our campus Monday through Friday. We do have space in our Fireside Room where children, including infants, are well cared for during our Children In Worship time.
Is your campus accessible for those with physical impairments?
Yes. We have 3-4 reserved accessible parking spots directly on the west side of the sanctuary. You can step out right under the covered awning, rain or shine. The Sanctuary, the Fireside Room, Fellowship Hall, Kitchen and coffee hour are all wheelchair accessible. Restrooms are wheelchair accessible. Hearing assist aids are provided; just ask.
How can I become a member?
If you're interested in becoming a member of the congregation, just show up and be part of what's going on. To inquire about our more formal membership process, contact Pastor John. In general, this isn't a high priority for us. Anyone who partners and participates with us in worship, fellowship, ministry and service is member enough.
